Scott Snelgrove Professional Corporation
"Experience that Counts"
We're not your typical tax and accounting firm.
Scott Snelgrove has been a Chartered Accountant since 1987, and a CPA since the merger in 2012. He has always had a passion for the tax side of things! He worked for one of the Big-4 accounting firms in their tax department for over six years and was placed on the fast track, quickly moving up the ranks to Senior Tax Manager. He spent two years in Toronto at the National Tax Office, honing his tax knowledge but yearning for the simpler life.
Returning to London in 1993, Scott opened his tax and accounting firm and now serves three distinct client groups:
- he is the "Tax accountant to the accountants", helping fellow CA's, CMA's and CGA's with their clients' tax needs.
- he prepares U.S. and Canadian personal income tax returns for a wide variety of individuals, professionals and business owners, including some professional athletes.
- he is the tax advisor and accountant to a select group of small and medium sized businesses.
Scott also loves to educate and teach. He joined the faculty at Fanshawe College as a part-time professor, teaching both accounting and income tax courses. He has written articles for the "Ask The Expert" column in the London Free Press, and has been a frequent guest speaker at various functions.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys the odd game of golf and participates in Triathlons. Highlights include the 1990 Canadian Ironman Championships and the 2012 Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon.
